New Password Complexity Requirements

Upon login to webmail, you may be prompted to change your password. Our new complex password policy will require that network account passwords meet the following requirements:

• The password is at least eight characters long.
• The password contains characters from at least three of the following categories:
• English uppercase characters (A - Z)
• English lowercase characters (a - z)
• Numeric digits (0 - 9)
• Non-alphanumeric (for example: !, $, #, or %)
• The password does not contain three or more consecutive characters from the user's account name.

Additionally, under the new policy, passwords will expire every 180 days and you can only change your password only once a day.
