The CIO for St. John Fisher College's overriding goal is to assure that the college has the resources in place to meet its current and future academic and administrative IT needs. They insure that the College is fully served by the three divisions of OIT and is provided with technology guidance, direction, and management to achieve its goals, missions and strategic requirements.
The three divisions in OIT include: Network Services which is responsible for all network, server, infrastructure and telephone systems; Administrative Services which is responsible for administrative application systems and databases; and User Services, providing the Help Desk, PC support, academic PC lab services, the Media Center and IT training.

| The Director of Academic Computing for the Office of Information Technology has management responsibilities for Help Desk services, technical support for the campus PC's and Mac's, Media Services, application training, and support for the technology in the academic computer labs and classrooms. User Services is comprised of 7 full time support staff, a part time application trainer, and numerous student lab assistants and technicians.

OIT Administrative Services provides programming and database services for the development, integration, implementation, enhancement, and operational support of St. John Fisher's Banner ERP system. OIT Administrative Services provides dedicated staff support for mission-critical systems as well as on-call and ad hoc problem resolution and recovery support for other systems. The Administrative Services staff works closely with user groups to ensure that reports, new applications and initiatives are developed to advance St. John Fisher's goals.
